Department of Swasthavritta and Yoga
Introduction
The Department of Swasthavritta and Yoga is a fundamental branch of Ayurveda focused on the preservation and promotion of health through preventive and lifestyle-based principles. Swasthavritta emphasizes ideal living through daily (Dinacharya) and seasonal (Ritucharya) regimens, proper diet, hygiene, and mental well-being as described in classical texts like Charaka Samhita and Sushruta Samhita.
